All Around Aspen

I’m Kathryn Saari (my friends call me “Kat”), and like many others, I moved here to spend only ONE winter, and ended up staying. I’ve been here since September 2007, and will agree with the estimated average of 300 sunny days per year! Who knew that Spring & Fall would end up being my two favorite seasons here? I will cover anything everything from outdoor activities, spas & treatments, après ski hangouts, fabulous food, performance venues, art galleries, hotels, trendy boutiques, seasonal festivals, athletic events, and more. The opportunities and experiences in these mountains feel endless, and I invite you to join me in exploring Aspen’s playground as I live it. Kathryn Saari's Profile

”Explore Booksellers is the same, but with some great new additions. There is a coffee shop; a rare book section; a beautiful new room for author events (or relaxing in an over-stuffed chair); a shaded outdoor patio; plus more events and community partnerships than ever. In fact duiring peak summer and winter seasons, we have book signings by nationally prominent authors almost every day.
The Bistro also remains “a different great place to eat in Aspen” — delicious, unusual foods in an intimate pleasant setting… but even better with a commitment to local, sustainably-grown foods and wonderful new menu items in addition to our traditional favorites.”
This is hands-down, a local favorite to buy gifts, eat well, or veg out with coffee and a book.
